SLS Home Solutions proudly offers licensed Notary Public services to both our residents and the local community. Our goal is to make notarization convenient, accessible, and professional in a supportive environment. Services include acknowledgments, jurats, affidavits, power of attorney, lease agreements, identity verification, healthcare directives, DMV forms, and more. We provide in-office appointments and, in some cases, mobile notary services by request. All signers must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of service.

Our notary fees are affordable and follow Virginia’s state guidelines. Whether you're completing housing documents, employment paperwork, or personal legal forms, we’re here to assist you with professionalism and care. Our dedicated case management and advocacy team works closely with each resident to create an individualized support plan.

We assist with navigating vital resources such as mental health services, trauma-informed care, job training, educational opportunities, recovery support, life skills, coaching, compassionate and we empower individuals to heal, grow, and build a future they can be proud of.

Over at SLS Home Solutions, our program places a strong emphasis on employment readiness and community engagement with job search assistance, resume building, interview preparation, and direct connections to local employers.

We also assist with volunteer opportunities in the community to help build confidence, gain experience, and foster a sense of purpose.

Whether re-entering the job market or giving back through service, our goal is to help residents develop the skills, structure, and self-worth needed for long-term success.

We understand that reliable transportation is a critical part of achieving independence. Our program offers flexible, case-by-case transportation assistance to help residents attend job interviews, medical appointments, court dates, and other essential activities. We also organize monthly group outings to promote social connection and community engagement.

When available, we provide support with personal shopping needs, public transportation assistance, & help setting up travel apps like Lyft or Uber.

To keep our residents informed and empowered, we provide monthly community updates that highlight important local resources and opportunities.

These updates include information on donation drives, nearby food banks, upcoming job fairs, employment leads, group interview sessions, volunteer opportunities, and other support services available in the area.

Our goal is to ensure every resident stays connected to what's happening around them and has access to the tools and information they need to succeed right at their fingertips.

At SLS Home Solutions, we place a strong emphasis on life skills development to help residents build independence and confidence. Our program includes cooking and nutrition classes that teach how to prepare healthy, affordable meals, along with education on balanced diets.

Residents also receive guidance in budgeting and money management, learning how to track expenses, save money, and make informed financial decisions. We support individuals in time management, goal setting, helping them structure their days effectively and work toward personal milestones.

In addition, we set clear expectations around household chores and cleanliness, promoting responsibility, shared accountability, and a clean, respectful living environment. These skills lay the foundation for long-term success both in and outside of the home.
